The only planes that could possibly fly through volcanic ash are DC-8's with no engines... Xenu Air: Come fly the Thetan skies.

Watching the proceedings here, looks like we'll have a full house. Nice day out for it too, here and there.

In short, bracelets that can serve as both an ID and shock the fuck out of the citizenship. Nice going there.

I don't know what's going on with this beard but it sure looks exciting.

Seriously I don't know what I am doing with this beard, but I need a haircut, and to figure out what to do with this beard.

More updates to follow.

She's like the micromachines sales pitch of politics.

Warning, Geek Rant!

They have this article wherein they talk up some shit, oh noes!

http://www.computerworld.com/action/article.do?command=viewArticleBasic&articleId=9051558

The choice bit is the photo and then: "Although the server components are exposed in the photograph on theIHPCRC's Web site, no lettering or brand names can be made out on whatappear to be two processing units. The faces of the two devices areblank, even after the clarity of the photo was enhanced by Computerworld's design staff."

This is why computer magazines are full of shit and worthless garbage, these people don't use jack and shit and they don't even bother to investigate when they don't know the answer.

Here's what I figured out in about 30 seconds of looking at the image.

First off, it's easy to spot that it's not a newer BGA socket, but a PGA socket, and since it's dual opertons, it's gotta be 940, so i know it's older.

This is maybe easy for me since I use tyan systems a lot at work, but really, it woulden't be hard to find out, considering that by even zooming in on the blurry image, one can read TYAN on the cable pull tab going to the front backplane.

Also, all the boxes are clearly tyan boxes, the blue stripe is obivous.

The photos that they link too are a bigger giveaway, with the obvious Tyan casing and colors.

here is the barebone system:

http://www.tyan.com/product_barebones_detail.aspx?pid=33

it is using this motherboard:

http://www.tyan.com/product_board_detail.aspx?pid=199

...

Good investigating there, computerworld.

Blah.
